As you have navigated to the Join Us page you are hopefully keen to support what Pro DEA is trying to do to assist you, the independent energy assessor. Our organisation is about support and collective thinking. We want to help you help yourselves – and ultimately the industry as a whole. This in turn will raise standards and the professional worth of our members. What we want to do to help youAs a Full Member of Pro DEA you can access all of the benefits and resources we aim to facilitate in the future, including: a work instructions board; a members’ directory easily accessed by the public; financial benefits on services, products and marketing materials; information directly from the CLG regarding developments that affect you and enabling you to contribute to consultations and debates at strategic levels regarding standards in the industry. Lastly but most importantly we hope to develop a ‘brand’ that will quickly be recognised by the industry as a quality mark and assist your business. These are just examples of the potential benefits in being part of Pro DEA, a national body of energy assessors, working together. What we need from youIn order to achieve our aims we will ask you to play your part and need you to provide certain documents and evidence in order to meet our stringent membership criteria. These will include a client questionnaire, your CPD record to date, your complaint procedure and a copy of your current accreditation certificate. In addition to these documents we ask you to sign and uphold our Members’ Terms and Conditions which outlines the standards and conduct clients can expect from our members. This emphasis on standards and our membership criteria makes us unique within this industry, which will help establish our organisation as the benchmark for energy assessors, which in turn will ultimately be a valuable asset to your business. Your voice, your choicePro DEA want to offer you a voice, which so far has been fragmented within our industry.
